BUAC Healthy School Victories
Through the efforts of the Committee, we have been able to establish the use of green cleaners in all Boston Public Schools. In addition, the Committee won implementation of the 1996 ordinance requiring environmental assessments for all Boston Public Schools and is working with local and state representatives to increase funding for school renovations.

• Ask your school principal for a copy of your school's annual environmental assessment (a summary is posted on….).
• Ask about green cleaners and IPM in your child's school
• Start an Asthma Environmental Committee in your school
• Participate in developing an action plan to implement our platform
• Invite us to a school or community meeting to speak
